Meet and greet EP&P

We are teachers teaching teachers, so we know our audience and have passion for learning. We simply want to create an inspired learning experience for students and teachers alike.

We care about relationships. We have worked with many of the partners listed below for more than 18 years creating authentic learning experiences that last!

We care about real-life experiences. We create meaningful experiences for teachers to engage with industry partners around real-life industry problems. Our job is to connect students with relevant learning that leads to a career!

Any glimpse of Jeanne at work would certainly include her happy smile. She believes work needs to be joyful and creative, approached with enthusiasm and energy. Jeanne truly loves what she does! She has lots of good ideas and likes the energy of sharing ideas with others.

Passionate about teaching and learning, Jeanne graduated from the Ohio State University with an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. After teaching in New Orleans and Memphis, TN, she moved back to Ohio and worked in Upper Arlington Schools. Energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement—Melinda Findley Lloyd has it all! Her strengths include:

Learner: she loves to learn about people, the history of how things have been done, new topics; Individualization: seeing each person’s unique strengths and understanding them; Arranger: planning and organizing, arranging information, people, projects, budgets—putting all the pieces together

Melinda has a Communication degree from Hanover College, a masters in Agricultural Communication from Texas Tech University and a doctorate in Education, also from Texas Tech. Susan Sherer

Susan Sherer not only thinks outside the box; she thinks about the box: How is it made? What is it made of? Why are you in there? How can we benefit from our different perspectives? She likes to re-invent; to make ideas happen; to think, connect and research. She enjoys asking lots of questions to understand a problem.

Susan graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Communications. The founder of her own company, Susan is skilled at designing effective business models with sustainable funding. Her leadership roles include CEO of a non-profit utility assistance program and Executive Director of Detroit Super Bowl XL.

Her abilities to think strategically and futuristically help EP&P internally to chart an exciting course for the future, and they are also invaluable talents for our clients to draw upon. She plays a key role in helping us come around a client and fully identify their needs and ideate potential solutions.

Susan lives in Detroit, Michigan. She enjoys good food, good books, thinking and talking. Her reading is motivated by a desire to know God more and to deeply consider people and situations. “If the story takes place in one room, it is probably something I would really like.”

Jane Hunt

Jane Hunt loves to talk. Honest—she said it herself! She enjoys working with people and thinking creatively to connect seemingly unconnected topics. Jane’s warm smile draws people to her, and her passion and enthusiasm is contagious.

Jane graduated with a BS degree in health education with a certification in biology and general science, taught for a few years, then got a master’s degree in school counseling. Heather Bryan

Heather is happiest outside. She has a love for discovery, nature and education and enjoys watching students make connections while learning. An independent thinker, Heather likes doing things that require vision, problem solving, strategy, and ingenuity. She values knowledge, intelligence and insight.

Heather has a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Zoology from Miami University and a teacher certification from Bowling Green State University. She received her Masters in Education at the University of Findlay. Heather taught Environmental Science and Biology classes at Findlay High School and became a part of EP&P in 2009.

Heather and her husband farm 3000 acres with his family in McComb, Ohio, growing corn, wheat, soybeans, alfalfa and oats. They are passionate about teaching their four children and others about the importance of family, natural systems, and service to others. Heather enjoys getting her children outside to explore the world around them and taking care of the livestock on their farm.

Sally Ewan

Working with words is Sally Ewan’s ‘thing’. She likes to take ideas and convey them to to others in interesting, understandable ways. Learning about agriculture and education fascinates her, as she is continually amazed at all the things going on.
